Stella Iannitto is a documentarist, filmmaker, cinema teacher and video workshops organizer.

With the documentary 19 HILOS she participated in several festivals such as Festival dei Popoli (Italy) Fidmarseille (France), Parnu International Documentary and Anthropology Film Festival (Estonia) among others.

She later graduated from the New York Film Academy, worked as assistant professor in the same and made some short films including THEY MEET, which will be a guest at some festivals obtaining two awards as best short film.

In 2013, together with Manuela Cencetti she realizes "La mia strada è il mondo intero" a documentary filmed in the nomadic camps on the outskirts of Turin.

He has collaborated with Associazione i313 for  Cinemainstrada festival and with Officina Koinè for the development and production of several documentary projects.

"La versione di Jean" is her latest documentary, co-directed with Manuela Cencetti and Jean Diaconescu which premiered at Torino Film Festival in 2020.
